The "Toilet Revolution" is a national civilization project. The Party Central Committee and the State Council attach great importance to the "toilet revolution". In 2015, as the National Tourism Administration launched a massive toilet revolution nationwide, Foshan followed closely and issued the "Foshan City Tourism Toilet Construction and Management Three-Year Action Plan" Implementation Plan" clarifies the overall requirements and key work measures for the construction and management of tourist toilets in Foshan. In 2018, the Foshan Municipal Government issued the "Foshan City "Toilet Revolution" New Three-Year Action Plan (2018-2020)", which clarified the annual mission goals and three-year overall mission goals, detailed responsibilities and tasks, and all districts and departments took active actions , and further promote the "toilet revolution" work. The city's five districts have taken active actions to carry out special rectification of public toilets, optimize public toilet hardware facilities, public toilet service management, and internal and external environmental sanitation of public toilets, forming their own highlights and characteristics. Public toilet sanitation management has been included in the urban management evaluation system, and monthly evaluations, quarterly reports, and annual general evaluations are implemented. As of 2020, the city has completed the construction and reconstruction of more than 300 urban public toilets, exceeding the overall goals and tasks set by the Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Municipal Government on the new three-year action of "Toilet Revolution". A total of more than 2,000 public toilets in tourism, transportation and rural areas have been newly built and renovated. . In order to continue to promote the process of Foshan toilet revolution and increase the coverage of the toilet revolution, on the occasion of the opening of the 2021 Foshan Tanzhou Ceramics Exhibition, the Toilet Construction Service Committee of the China Building Materials Circulation Association and the CTRE China Toilet Expo Organizing Committee will hold the "2021 "Toilet Revolution Foshan Forum" invites experts in various fields of toilet revolution to empower Foshan's toilet revolution.
