Deming Ring
With his work "French Style for a Family (Yudongang Project in Dalian, Liaoning)", Mr. Dai Minghuan was selected for the 2020 China New Design Youth Selection and became one of the top 100 designers who won the final award.
This design case is a residential building. At the beginning of the design, the owner and the design team discussed and analyzed the definition of "home". The mansion is defined as French light luxury style, which is based on the consensus of the owner and the design team on beauty.
1. Living room
The true elegance is hidden in the carving of details, making every ordinary place extraordinary, and the temperament emerges spontaneously. The overall customization of the living room uses wood as the main design color, and uses high-end gray color with a little gold to reduce the problem of light colors and allow the overall space to accommodate more changes in life.
2. Restaurant
Use dreams as horses, poetry and wine as time. The restaurant pays attention to the overall style, and the ritual sense of life comes from the three meals a day without any carelessness. Wash away all the limelight, and based on the low-saturation overall tones, adopt French romantic style wine cabinet display and low-key and connotative decoration to bring out the warmth and softness of the environment.
The floor is replaced with natural marble.Modern carpets and various soft furnishings that blend in with the environment exude a leisurely atmosphere. The interior is full of light and full of artistic atmosphere. The criss-crossing geometric chandeliers become the finishing touch of the restaurant.
3. Corridor
Between the dining room and the living room is the corridor leading to the room. The exquisite entrance corridor lights and entrance are designed in a Baroque style space. The aisles are mainly decorated in light beige. The layout highlights the balance and symmetry of the axis. The ceiling lights and floor tiles are also designed in the same color system, which is simple and grand.
4. Nursing Home
The main colors of the elderly room are navy blue and off-white, and the environmental space is bright and open with a bit of depth. The details are full of new luxury, exquisite carvings and smooth lines, and every detail is exquisite in art and literature. The artistic design of a semi-arc fan shape, striped retro elements combined with golden embellishments, and built-in counters and pedestals are also provided in the room, achieving a time-space balance between the traditional depth of style and modern fashion.
5. Boys’ Room
Different from the stable temperament of the elderly room, the boys' room has a more naughty and playful feel. The fabrics and bright yellow furnishings make the boy's bedroom feel warmer overall, and the carved patterns also add a different spatial embellishment here. Most of the counters in this design are built-in, as are the display cabinets in the boy's room. Children who are in school can use these spaces to place books.
6. Master bedroom
The designer’s original intention is that the home is a ‘container’ that can accommodate the owner’s complex emotions and the traces of a family’s time changes. Therefore, the master bedroom is also infused with different emotions and art. Although it is French style, the mainIn response to the needs of the owner of the house, the bedroom was designed with light and luxurious details that are more Chinese-style. The pendant metal chandelier echoes the wooden bedside table, and the master bed also looks more majestic and elegant.
7. Kitchen
With the same simplicity and elegance, the European-style cabinets in the kitchen look particularly comfortable under the refracted light of the blinds. Unnecessary and useless decorations are removed, and the washing area, preparation area, cooking area, and draining area are reasonably divided into functional areas. The entire kitchen design has all the functions you need.
